- Develop and maintain system architecture, defining major subsystems and their interfaces for seamless integration.
- Evaluate and compare technical design options to select the most effective and efficient architecture.
- Create and maintain interface control documents (ICDs) to ensure subsystems communicate effectively.
- Plan and coordinate the integration of hardware and software components into unified, reliable systems.
- Design and execute rigorous testing strategies to verify system performance and validate that all requirements are met.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of anomalies, and work collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Serve as a central communication hub between engineering teams to facilitate system-wide coherence and collaboration.
- Support continuous improvement by feeding test and performance insights back into system designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace, robotics, or autonomous systems.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, requirements management, and system integration.
