Company Overview
We are a rapidly growing technology startup focused on delivering next-generation drones for security and safety applications. Our company vertically integrates hardware and software to create leading edge capabilities in the UAV space, with a focus on saving lives.
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and deploy hardware that powers intelligent robotic UAS systems operating in real-world environments. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software, hardware, and autonomy—building robust, high-performance systems that integrate perception, planning, control, and communication.
You will collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to take robotics software from simulation to fielded deployment.
Responsibilities
Design embedded control electronics from concept to production, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration.
Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools.
Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.
Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
Required Qualifications
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems and products.
Demonstrated experience designing mixed signal circuits.
Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral).
Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation design tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with autonomous systems (UAVs, UGVs, mobile robots, or manipulators)
Experience with field testing, data logging, and performance analysis
