This role offers a strategic opportunity to drive growth within the rapidly evolving unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and utility services sector. You will lead sales and business development efforts across a diverse portfolio of industrial and infrastructure clients, helping expand innovative, technology-driven service offerings. Acting as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, you will shape customer relationships while identifying new market opportunities and service line expansions. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring both commercial acumen and technical understanding. You will play a central role in defining regional growth strategies, influencing organizational direction, and delivering measurable revenue impact. This position combines leadership, client engagement, and hands-on sales execution in a high-visibility setting.
Accountabilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the UAS utility services market across the region.
- Lead and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with regional objectives, ensuring consistent pipeline development and deal conversion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement growth initiatives, including expanding service lines and entering new markets or verticals.
- Manage and oversee contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with organizational standards and risk management requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and local sales units, to share leads, best practices, and technical expertise.
- Support major account management efforts, including client stewardship meetings and long-term relationship development.
- Prepare and deliver competitive proposals and bids, ensuring alignment with client needs and market expectations.
- Contribute to the development of future sales talent and support continuous improvement of sales processes and strategies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the utility industry, with strong knowledge of infrastructure or industrial services.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within UAS, technology-driven, or technical service environments.
- Proven track record of success in solution-based sales to large industrial or enterprise clients.
- Experience working with technical products or services and the ability to communicate value to engineering and operational stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and maintain an active, well-structured sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (50%+).
- Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
