You will be a key member of Robin’s Service and Support (S&S) team, providing firsthand support to our most valued customers.
As a Service Operations Specialist, you are responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of maintenance and repair services for all subscribed assets. You will coordinate the Service Engineering team—managing resources, tracking performance, and continuously refining processes to maximize both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Create and manage a rolling annual maintenance schedule for all assets under an S&S subscription.
Coordinate service appointments and site visits, ensuring customer needs are captured and shared with relevant parties.
Align with internal teams to optimize resource allocation considering availability, logistics, and customer prioritization.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer communication, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure effective, transparent, and uniform team operations.
Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics to manage spare parts inventory, minimizing downtime and optimizing cost-efficiency.
Track and analyze KPIs such as MTTR and MTBF to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to achieve SLAs.
Provide training and guidance to the engineering team on customer protocols, internal processes (Odoo/PLM), and spare parts control.
Evaluate current operations and propose improvements to products and processes where applicable.
BA or VMBO-4 degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
3-5 years of experience in customer service operations, preferably in the industrial or engineering sector.
Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), configuration management, and inventory control.
Proficiency in using service management software (Jira), CRM systems, and Odoo.
Fluency in written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus.
Strong analytical acumen for tracking metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across all backgrounds.
